Pardon me, highly profitable software company. You find it (relatively) easy to accumulate dollars and hard to influence your own culture. I find the reverse. This is the basis for a potential trade.
“Influence our culture, help us make more money, and then maybe someday someone will pay you,” is not the delicious offer you seem to think it should be.
I’ve gotten feedback—oh don’t talk about this or no one will ever hire you. But it just doesn’t make sense to me so I’m going to talk about it.
I’m seeking to understand here. What are the beliefs and principles that cause that line of thinking to make sense? I’d also like to be understood—“yes Kent I see your point” not “but other people talk/consult/write for free”.
